Frankham Fell Boarding Kennels and Cattery are fully licenced by Tynedale District Council and are regularly inspected by their environmental health officer.

About Us

The Dogs and Cats will be cared for by a very experienced owners, Mrs H. and Mr I. Robertson and their three carefully picked and dedicated full time staff and three part time staff.

Mr C.S Davies (Veterinary Surgeon) and his wife Mrs J.A Davies established the business in 1981.

Feeding

Dogs are fed on a tried and tested mixed diet that we have developed over many years. We have a large variety of dried and wet foods available. If you would prefer to bring your own special foods, we will feed this to your dog without extra charge.

Walks

Dogs are walked up to three times per day on secure flexi leads in the fabulous countryside that surrounds Frankham Fell Boarding Kennels .

Before and during walking we check that the dog has no ailments or injuries and that they are going to the toilet normally.

Cattery

The Cattery is indoors and each unit has a timber chalet with warm fleece bedding. Every bed has its own infra-red heater to keep the cat warm and snug in the winter months. Toys and scratchy posts make the units fun to stay in. Unit sizes 1.5 x 2.5 metres and 2.5 x 2.5 metres.

Dog and Cat collection and delivery service.
With prior arrangement, we can come to your home to collect and return your pet. Prices are charged per mile, based on return miles travelled. Please call for details.
