Richardsons today offer a full range of vehicles ranging from people carriers to large coaches(see our vehicles)for contract hire,private hire,school transport and virtually any possible event where people movement is required in the UK.

By 1949 business had increased so that further premises on Oxford Road were purchased. Temporary setbacks were experienced when shipyards closed but otherwise the company steadily grew.

Richardsons were very busy during the war years taking munitions factory hands to work and when air raids struck, the company's drivers would move its vehicles out of the yard and park them in different places around the town to minimise damage.
